PIG ROAST FUNDRAISER

CHANCE’S PIG ROAST

John Blesso’s mega sharehouse raised $940 for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (iava.org) and their keg was donated by the Fire Island Beer Company. Among the guests: BVT 7 Seas, Wood’s Hole, Cozy A (Chip and Bonnie). Dave & Jonathan, Joanne. The party lasted 2 hours and fed 80 people, Chef Blesso of course cooked the pig. “A lot of people felt good about contributing and we even had an Iraq vet named Dave from 7 Seas”.

5th Annual SEABAY Pot Luck Dinner yielded treasures from everyone's kitchen.

John Williams once again made his famous ribs. Gregg Weisser this year made a Lobster Mac & Cheese (comprised of 4 cheeses) and Jane Weisser made her hands-down best Lemon Meringue Pies ever.

Chips and dips abound. Bob LaRocco made a Corn Mango salad to die for.  Anna Starrantino brought a pasta dish. Jacques and Regina brought the “everything salad”. Tony and Elaine came through with the pesto. Avalon did great potato salad. Jay & Jerry chocolate delight, and many others………

The weather was compliant and served-up an amazing evening, even balmy, which was reminiscent of a summer evening. Remember those?
