OCEAN BAY PARK FIRE DEPARTMENT ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY BARBECUE HELD AT THE FIREHOUSE

                                                      Photos by Robbie

The OBP Volunteer Fire Department is a vibrant part of our Community. Firefighters both men and women keep us safe year-long, day and night. Drills are conducted every Saturday during the summer, and many involve mutual aid drills together with other Fire Island Communities.   Here's a look at some of our firefighters at a drill.

The biggest fundraiser the Ocean Bay Park Fire Department holds each year is the annual 4th of July Barbecue held at the Firehouse.

This year the weather was wonderful and the whole Community turned out to enjoy the delicious hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. as well as the big prize raffle and 50/50 raffle.  The winner took home just under $1,500.
